Since its launch in 1994 Ho-Chunk, Inc. has invested thousands of dollars back into the community through its contributions to a variety of charitable causes. That effort has increased each year to help fund several worthwhile programs. Due to the volume of requests received, Ho-Chunk, Inc. has established a new program to ensure fairness to all organizations requesting funds.

All organizations requesting assistance can complete a special application available at HCI offices. Only those organizations completing and returning the application will be considered, on a first-come, first-served basis. Community groups are urged to contact Joi Long at HCI headquarters rather than any other individual and return the completed application for funding consideration. The HCI contributions fund does have limited resources and is now being administered by a special committee to review each request based on merit and other standard requirements to assure fair distribution of contributions.

HCI CONTRIBUTIONS POLICY
HCI has adopted a contributions policy that puts a priority on all funding requests as follows:

1. Youth and Education in the Winnebago Community
   a. Program must be on the Reservation
   
2. Youth and Sports in the Winnebago Community
   a. 50% of team or program must include Winnebago Tribal members
   b. Priority is given to activities on the Reservation
   
3. Adults and Sports in the Winnebago Community
   a. 50% of team or program must include Winnebago Tribal members
   b. Priority is given to activities on the Reservation
   
4. General Community Enrichment for Winnebago
   a. Program must be on the reservation
   
5. No funding available for individuals
