Sarah Snake, Secretary and Director of Human Resources, is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and has lived on the Winnebago Indian Reservation for the past 41 years. She is a 1974 Graduate from the Winnebago Public School and attended DQ University in Davis, California.

Sarah began her HR experience in 1981 when she was hired in the Personnel Office for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. She was later promoted to HR Manager. She also worked for the Public Health Nursing Program and administered the Winnebago Tribal Court from January 1996 until April of 2000.

Sarah came to HCI on November 27, 2000 and built the Department of Human Resources. Since that time the Human Resources Department has grown to a three-person operation, including the Director, an HR Assistant and a Benefits Coordinator.
