
Sharon Bass is Operations Manager for Ho-Chunk, Inc. She is responsible for assisting in coordination and strategic planning for the corporation and its subsidiaries. She has also assumed the role of Training Officer for development and implementation of employee training programs throughout the company. Sharon is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and a Master of Arts in Education from Briar Cliff University, Sioux City, Iowa.
Prior to her association with Ho-Chunk, Inc., Sharon was the Title III Advising Center Coordinator for Little Priest Tribal College and had been associated with the college since 1999 in a variety of roles including Director of Community Education and Interim President. Sharon also taught school for several years on the Winnebago Indian Reservation.
Sharon is a member of the National Indian Education Association, Title IX Parent Advisory Committee and Institutional Review Board, Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
