Heritage Express is one of the largest gasoline retailers in our region with seven convenience and grocery stores. Stores are located both on and off the Reservation, including Winnebago, Walthill, South Sioux City and Emerson in Nebraska and Sioux City and Sloan in Iowa. On-Reservation stores capitalize on our strong tax advantage to drive gas and tobacco volume.

The convenience store chain has provided tribal members with a variety of jobs and management opportunities within the system.

Leisa Guerrero, Retail Operations Director for Heritage Express, has been associated with the operation since 2000. She is responsible for personnel management, store operations, budgeting and inventory management. She is a member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
