Ho-Chunk, Inc. CEO Panelist at Legal Education Conference
Lance Morgan, President and CEO of Ho-Chunk, Inc. will be a panelist and conference faculty member at a continuing legal education conference to be held at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University on April 28-29, 2011 in Tempe, Arizona.
Entitled, “Treaty to Trust to Carcieri: The Economic Future for Indian Lands CLE Conference”, it is part of the Tribal Economic Development Program of the Indian Legal Program at Arizona State University.
The conference will present and analyze contemporary issues that impact tribal land management and strategic development. It will also examine the history of Indian lands, integration of culture into planning, impact of global issues on reservation planning, impact of local issues on tribal land use, and the future of the fee-to-trust process.
Panelists including Morgan will share their experiences in the development of law and policies that impact tribal lands and lay a foundation for the future of these lands.
Morgan is an adjunct professor at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona and a frequent speaker across the country on topics of Indian Law and of Tribal Economic Development.
