• Our subsidiaries have demonstrated quality performance for a variety of contracts with several federal government agencies both nationally and internationally.
  
  
• Several Ho-Chunk, Inc. subsidiaries are certified participants in the 8(a) program of the U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA).  The
  8(a) program allows certified participants to compete with each other on a “level” playing field, rather than full and open competition with much larger companies.
  
  
• Additionally, as a tribally owned corporation, Ho-Chunk, Inc. subsidiaries are eligible for unlimited 8(a) set-aside contracts, a benefit not available to other 8(a) certified organizations.
  
  
• Ho-Chunk, Inc. is also a certified HUBZone corporation.  Again, the federal government has contracts specifically set-aside for HUBZone competition rather than full and open.  And, a HUBZone company can be priced up to 10% higher than other non-HUBZone companies when bidding on a government contract.
