• Since the Reservation qualifies as a HUBZone area, your business located on the reservation may qualify you as a HUBZone company if 35% of your employees also live in a HUBZone area.  That means that if you are able to hire Winnebago tribal members to complement your workforce, you can take advantage of the HUBZone certification.
  
  
• As a business located on the Reservation, any tribal employees will qualify you for a federal employer tax credit equal to 20% of the employee’s wages, including health insurance premiums paid by the employer.  The tax credit can be claimed on wages not exceeding $45,000.
  
  
• With a Reservation location, you can qualify for an Accelerated Federal Property Depreciation Schedule.  This provides a shorter recovery period of about 40% for non-residential depreciable property.  This federal tax deferral can substantially increase the after-tax income of your business.
