Ho-Chunk, Inc. Welcomes Back Ann Marie Bledsoe Downes

We are incredibly excited for her return to Ho-Chunk, Inc.’s executive leadership team as Chief Administrative Officer.

Ann Marie is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a graduate of Winnebago Public Schools and Wayne State College.

She started our Community Impact & Engagement department back in 2017, and has worked closely with many individuals who now represent our next generation of leadership.

She returns to Ho-Chunk, Inc. having served our country in President Biden’s administration as one of the federal government’s top lawyers, working in the U.S. Department of the Interior under the first-ever Native American Cabinet member, Secretary Deb Haaland.

Ann Marie also previously served on Ho-Chunk, Inc.’s board of directors and was past president of Little Priest Tribal College in Winnebago.
