Meet Our Apprentices! – Spring 2026
This semester, Winnebago Public School students are gaining hands-on experience across the community. From construction and IT to education, customer service, and more.
Through the Apprenticeship Program, student build career skills, explore diverse fields, and prepare for success after graduation.
Elijah Whitebear
Meet Elijah Whitebear! Elijah is a descendent of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a senior. He is gaining hands-on experience with the Winnebago Wildlife & Parks Program. After high school, he plans to play football at Morningside University while earning his bachelor’s degree in business management and sport management.
Aaron Hulit
Meet Aaron Hulit! Aaron is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a member of the Wolf Clan. He is a senior placed with Ho-Chunk Construction this semester. After high school, he plans to serve in the Marines for five years before returning to work in his community as an electrician.
Ricarda Littlewalker
Meet Ricarda Littlewalker! Ricarda is an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation and a senior. This semester, she is gaining experience at Ho-Chunk Construction and plans to enlist in the Marines while continuing her education after high school.
Cassius Snowball
Meet Cassius Snowball! Cassius, a senior, is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member. He is gaining valuable experience with the Winnebago Wildlife & Parks Program and plans to continue building his skills as an electrician after high school while also pursuing a career in bodybuilding and content creation.
Dimitrious Walker
Meet Dimitrious Walker! Dimitrious is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a senior placed with the Winnebago Wildlife and Parks Program. After high school, he plans to attend Little Priest Tribal College, then go onto attend fire school to become a firefighter.
Jared Doxey
Meet Jared Doxey! Jared is a senior and a Winnebago Tribal member. He is gaining experience with Ho-Chunk Construction. After high school, he plans to continue his education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney while wrestling and studying education, with the goal of becoming a wrestling coach.
Jredyn Rave
Meet Jredyn Rave! Jredyn is from Winnebago, and an enrolled tribal member. He’s working with Ho-Chunk Construction this semester and plans to pursue a cybersecurity degree from Western Iowa Tech Community College after high school, with the goal of bringing his skills back to support his community.
Javianna Chavez
Meet Javianna Chavez! Javianna is an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and is placed with the Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System. After high school, she plans to attend college to study social work and business and bring that knowledge back to her community.
Kaevyn Harden
Meet Kaevyn Harden! Kaevyn, Hap'Pi'Mani'ga (Good Daywalker), is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member. He is currently learning on-the-job experience with the Wōrak Horak Youth Organization and plans to pursue a career in the music industry after high school.
Josiah Morgan
Meet Josiah Morgan! Josiah is a descendent of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and currently a senior. He is gaining hands-on experience with Wōrak Horak Youth Organization. After high school, he plans to continue working while he obtains his business degree from Little Priest Tribal College, then transfer to Wayne State College to further his education.
Ayden Armell
Meet Ayden Armell! Ayden is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a member of the Bear Clan. He is a senior gaining hands-on experience with Winnebago’s Big Voice Radio. After high school, he plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business.
