Meet Toby James , 2023 Summer Intern

Toby James is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a part of the Water Spirit Clan. He is attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with an NCPA scholarship, majoring in theater with a minor in musical theater.

His favorite food is anything Oreo or cookies and creme flavored.

Something on his bucket list is to be in a Broadway show.

If he had his own television show, it would be called “To Be, Or Not To Be” and would be about his struggles as a theater performance major.

Toby’s favorite quote comes from Star Wars. “Do… or do not. there is no try.” – Yoda.

What Toby hopes to learn in his internship is communication skills – not only the work environment, but in his everyday life.
