Meet our Apprentices! – Fall 2025
This semester, Winnebago Public School students are gaining hands-on experience across the community. From construction and IT to education, customer service, and more.
Through the Apprenticeship Program, students build career skills, explore diverse fields, and prepare for success after graduation.
Jenna Payer
Jenna Payer, a senior, is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member and currently gaining valuable experience at Educare Winnebago this semester. She plans to attend college and is currently deciding on what degree path she’d like to take.
Jaylen Hunter
Jaylen Hunter is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a senior. She is currently working with Sweetwater Café and plans to attend college and major in art.
Josiah Morgan
Josiah Morgan is a descendent of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and currently a senior. He is gaining hands-on experience with Ho-Chunk, Inc.’s Information Technology department. After high school, he plans to continue working while he obtains his business degree from Little Priest Tribal College. After LPTC, he plans to transfer to Wayne State College to further his education.
Roxy Houston
Roxy Houston is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member and a senior. She is working with Ho-Chunk, Inc.’s Community Impact & Engagement team this semester. She plans to enlist in the Navy after high school.
Dominick BigFire
Dominick BigFire is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member and a senior. He is gaining vital experience with Ho-Chunk Construction this semester. After high school, he plans to attend college to obtain his CDL and get a job in the trade area.
Kaevyn Harden
Kaevyn Harden, Hap'Pi'Mani'ga (Good Daywalker), is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member. He is currently learning on-the-job at the Winnebago Big-Voice Radio Station. His dream job is to be the next CEO for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
Latrice Levering
Latrice is an enrolled member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska and a senior. She is gaining customer service and teamwork experience this semester at SweetWater Café, skills she plans to carry forward as she pursues a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with the goal of becoming a police detective.
Gerry Earth
Gerry Earth is from Winnebago and an enrolled Tribal member. He currently works with the Winnebago Wildlife and Parks Program. He plans to continue his studies and play golf at Haskell Indian Nations University.
Jredyn Rave
Jredyn Rave is from Winnebago, and an enrolled Tribal member. He works with Winnebago Public School’s Information Technology department and plans to pursue a career in IT after high school.
Dimitrius Walker
Dimitrius Walker is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. He is a senior and currently placed with the Winnebago Wildlife and Parks Program. After high school, he plans to attend Little Priest Tribal College, then go on to attend fire school to become a firefighter.
Levin LaPointe
Levin is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member and a senior. This semester, he is gaining vital experience with the Winnebago Wildlife and Parks Program. He’s keeping his options open after high school, either enlisting in the service or studying animal biology.
Ricarda Littlewalker
Richarda is an enrolled member of the Ho-Chunk Nation and a senior. This semester, she is gaining experience at Ho-Chunk Construction. She’s keeping her options open after high school–either enlisting into the Air Force while attending college or attending community college to pursue a welding certificate with the goal of working in the welding field.
Ayden Armell
Ayden Armell is an enrolled member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and a member of the Bear Clan. He’s currently a senior and is gaining hands-on experience with the Winnebago Wildlife and Parks Program. He plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business after high school.
Cassius Snowball
Cassius Snowball, a senior, is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member. He plans to join the Marines after high school and is already getting valuable experience with Ho-Chunk Construction.
Aaron Hulit
Aaron is an enrolled Winnebago Tribal member and a member of the Wolf Clan. He’s currently a senior and is placed with BluStone Homes this semester. After high school, he plans to serve in the Army or Marines for 5 years then come back to work in his community.
