Meet Toby James Bassette, 2022 Summer Intern

Toby is from the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. He attends the University of Nebraska Lincoln, and he is currently studying theater performance.

He would like to learn how to make connections in a work environment during his internship because his field of study requires him to make connections.

Being on a Broadway stage or working on a Broadway show is at the top of Toby’s bucket list. His favorite food is anything Oreo or cookies and cream flavored. 🍪

If Toby had his own show, it would be called “Reaching” and it would be about him overcoming obstacles to get to where he wants to be– the Broadway stage. It would showcase what he goes through on a day-to-day basis and show a more personal side to him.
