WarHorse Lincoln to Begin Phase 3 Construction
LINCOLN, Nebraska – WarHorse Lincoln announced today that Phase 3 of its property expansion will begin February 9, marking a major step forward in the continued evolution of Nebraska’s second largest casino.
Construction will take place in the large, southeast parking lot and alters where patrons enter the facility through the end of summer 2027.
To maintain a convenient and welcoming experience, WarHorse Lincoln will offer clearly designated guest parking areas supported by continuous complimentary shuttle service. On-site signage and team members will be available to assist guests throughout their visit.
What Guests Should Expect
- Construction Area: The southeast parking and access area adjacent to the casino will be closed to accommodate expansion.
- Guest Parking: Parking will be available in designated areas, with shuttle service transporting guests directly to the casino entrance.
- Property Access: Guests will continue to access WarHorse Lincoln via 1st Street and West Denton Road.
- Operations: The casino will remain open and fully operational throughout construction.
Phase Three construction is focused on significantly enhancing amenities and guest offerings, including:
- Nebraska Ale Haus, a sports bar celebrating local flavor and game-day energy
- Big Fire Chop House, a premium steakhouse experience
- An expanded gaming floor, boosting the facility to more than 1,100 slots and 18 table games
“These improvements represent a major leap forward for WarHorse Lincoln,” said Lance Morgan, President and CEO of Ho-Chunk, Inc., WarHorse Lincoln’s parent company. “While guests may notice changes during construction, the end result will be a dramatically enhanced destination—one that offers more dining variety, more entertainment, and an even better experience.”
WarHorse Lincoln will continue to share construction updates through on-site signage, its website, and official social media channels.
